Our Wins Are Your Wins For Your Brand

Our Wins Are Your Wins For Your Brand

Every founder I meet has a version of the same question when they're deciding whether to work with a PR agency. Not "what will you do for me?" That one's easy. The real question, the one they sometimes don't ask out loud, is "how do I know you're actually good at this?"

It's the right question. PR is a category where confident-sounding people promise a lot, and the founder writing the check often can't tell, until months in, whether they hired the real thing or a very polished version of a wish. So I want to answer it honestly, using the one signal that isn't self-reported: what independent industry bodies have said about our work.

Publicity For Good has been recognized by some of the most respected names in the PR industry: O'Dwyer's, the Bulldog Awards, PRNEWS, and Qwoted. Each of those recognitions measures something specific and each of them, more importantly, points to a specific thing you should actually care about when you're deciding who to trust with your brand.

The recognitions, and what they mean

The recognitions, and what they mean

Named to the Qwoted 100 (2026). I was honored when Qwoted recognized us in this year's Qwoted 100, the top 100 PR professionals out of more than 40,000 users of the Qwoted platform. What makes this recognition different is that it isn't a subjective industry vote. It's a data-driven ranking based on measurable performance: how fast publicists respond to journalist queries, and how often their pitches actually result in published stories. In other words, it measures whether reporters trust the people pitching them enough to run their stories. That's the closest thing this industry has to an objective performance metric, and this year our team is on it.

Bulldog Awards Midsize Agency of the Year (2021). The Bulldog Awards, judged by working journalists rather than PR peers, named Publicity For Good the Midsize Agency of the Year, one of the most rigorous industry recognitions available, precisely because it's the media itself doing the evaluating. Journalists know who consistently delivers newsworthy pitches, credible sources, and reliable follow-through. Being named their agency of the year is a signal that the working press finds our team dependable enough to keep engaging with over the long run.

O'Dwyer's Best PR Firm for CPG Brands (2020). O'Dwyer's is one of the oldest and most credible independent trackers of the PR industry. Their recognition of Publicity For Good as the best PR firm for CPG brands reflects specific category expertise or how consumer-facing product brands need to be positioned, covered, and built in credible media. For any brand in CPG or an adjacent category, that specialization matters.

PRNEWS Top Women in PR (2021 and 2026). I was also named in two separate PRNEWS Top Women recognitions across two different years reflect sustained industry leadership. This kind of recognition speaks to what we bring beyond media placements, the strategic counsel and industry perspective that founders and executives increasingly want from a PR partner, not just a coverage-generating vendor.

Why this matters for your brand

Awards would be nice-to-have if they were only about validation. What makes them valuable to a client is that each one measures something a founder should actually care about when choosing an agency.

The Qwoted 100 measures the working media relationships. When your PR partner submits a pitch on your behalf, journalists are more likely to open it, engage with it, and consider it because they already know the person sending it delivers useful, timely, credible material. That responsiveness is often the difference between your story getting placed and your pitch getting deleted with the hundred others in a reporter's inbox that morning.

The Bulldog recognition measures credibility with the press itself. Being trusted by journalists over years isn't a marketing metric. It's the actual precondition for consistently landing coverage in outlets that matter. Your brand benefits from that trust before you've even been introduced.

The O'Dwyer's recognition measures category expertise. Knowing how CPG works, how buyers evaluate, how trade press covers, how consumer trust accumulates in this space is the difference between a generic PR agency and one that actually understands the market your brand operates in.

The PRNEWS Top Women recognition measures strategic leadership. When you're making decisions about brand positioning, story architecture, and how to build authority over time, you want a partner with the industry perspective to help you get it right, not just execute what you already thought of.

Media responsiveness, journalist trust, category expertise, and strategic leadership. Every recognition points at a different piece of what a great PR partner actually does and each is the kind of thing you'd want an outside party to verify before you hired someone.

What we do with it

What we do with it

Awards are only worth as much as the work behind them. What matters isn't the trophies but what they tell you about the team you'd actually be working with, and about the standard we hold ourselves to when the recognition isn't happening.

For the more than 500 brands we've served, that standard is what makes our work reliable. It's why journalists still return our emails. It's why our clients get to walk into rooms where their reputation is already established. It's why founders who come to us worried about being invisible tend to leave, over months, as the recognized voice in their space.

If you're weighing whether to work with a PR agency and want to know whether we're actually good at this, the industry has been telling you the answer.
