Jafflz is a brand that sells light and healthy meals and snacks in the form of unique Mexican-style turnovers, paninis or empanadas that the brand calls Toasted Pockets. Jafflz prides its Toasted Pockets for its use of only high-grade, quality ingredients that are both nutritious and exceptionally delicious.

 

Jafflz sought the aid of Publicity For Good in order to establish the brand as an industry leader for nutritious and healthy gourmet sandwiches. It was a long-term goal of Jafflz that their toasted pockets would be classified as an official type of sandwich for everyone. Jafflz also wanted to raise more awareness and interest in new store launches in Dallas, Texas. Finally, Jafflz wanted to position its founder, Chef Meryl, as a world-class chef and food expert.

In order for PFG to achieve our goals, we had a total of 5 objectives in mind. We needed to secure segments in food publications, health publications, segments in Dallas, Texas, TV cooking segments for Meryl, and, finally, establish Jafflz as an industry leader for delicious and healthy toasted pocket sandwiches. In order to make the most out of our coverage, we ensured that we also sought to be featured around key awareness periods and relevant events related to health and nutrition.

In the 3 months we worked together, we were able to accumulate a total of 10 media opportunities for Jafflz during our campaign, 9 of which are already live. These opportunities were able to generate a reach of over 9.5 billion media impressions. Our media coverage included features in Frozen & Refrigerated Buyers, Red Tricycle, Jackie Freiberg, Michael Buononato, Eat This, Not That!, WKOW 27 news – Wake Up Wisconsin, Yahoo! Life, PA Homepage and AJC. We were also able to send out 22 product samples to Red Tricycle and Thrillist for consumer insights and reviews.

Looking at the media impressions accumulated during the campaign, we were able to make a relevant impact to aid Jafflz in becoming a more prominent brand in food, health and nutrition.
