Força Foods was created to address one simple premise: how can you save the earth and maintain a healthy, well-balanced diet. As a response to the global crisis of water scarcity and malnutrition, each facet of their business focuses on sustainability and health. Forća Foods developed a superfood snack using watermelon seeds packaged as a trail mix that saves water and adds to a healthy and holistic diet.

Not many people are aware of the multitude of health benefits they get from watermelon seeds. Força Foods insists on telling people to stop spitting out their watermelon seeds and eat them instead. The brand sought the help of Publicity For Good to address this concern and allow people to see Força Foods ability to deliver the benefits of watermelon seeds in a convenient and sustainable format. Naturally, we sought to feature Força Foods in lifestyle and health publications and adequately time our posts with significant health, food, and wellness events and awareness seasons.

We put our focus on generating media opportunities for Força Foods by featuring a hero product applicable to each awareness campaign. We focused on leveraging the following awareness periods: National Snack Food Month, Gluten-Free Diet Awareness Month, National Watermelon Day, National Family Heath and Fitness Day, National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month and National Celiac Disease Awareness Day.

In the 3 months we worked together, Publicity For Good was able to secure a total of 21 media opportunities, 15 of which are live, while others are already scheduled to go live soon. We were able to secure features in Women, Before Its News, Erica Finds, Divine LIfestyle, and Eat Well, Adventure Often, and 2 features on Forbes Magazine among many others that include blogs and major online publications. Publicity For Good’s media efforts for Força Foods was able to accumulate a reach of 283, 846, 908 media impressions — effectively penetrating their target audience. We were also able to send out a total of 13 product samples to various media outlets and personalities for reviews and features.

Força Foods’ campaign has granted it several types of features across a myriad of media channels. They were featured in product roundups, news articles, general education, sustainability, and food blogs. Through Publicity For Good’s efforts, we were able to brand Força Foods as a reliable source of healthy and sustainable snacks, all while educating the public about the many great benefits they can get from consuming watermelon seeds.
